Where do you place yourself in terms of the video game culture?

Video games are every where you go in the society that we live in today. It is what people do to keep pass time and go into an alternate universe. I myself , have played many video games before, but do not have the tendancy to play video games all the time or keep track of what is hot and what is new. I do have and x-box 360 and a WII , but i only play on it when people are over for entertainment purposes. For example, the video games i play or are familiar with are interactive ones such as Guitar Hero, Rock Band and racing games, but i dont play with them all the time.

What do you think of video games and video games culture?

Video games have revolutionized the way we look at things and has created a whole different universe that we are not used to, but combines it with a persons imagination and plays out what happens the way they want it to be. It not only established a whole culture, but a more indept look into the world of 3D animation and brought it to new hights that it was ever before. Because of the new technogly and the developpement of computer softwear, they are capable of turing something that is a line flat, to something that is more realistic and can play out how the player wants it to be or turn out. It gives the player an oppertunity to put their shoes in an other characters and have them live that life and make it how they want it to turn out to be. Videos games have also gone Hollywood, with many of them every year turning to the silver-screen. This showing a realistic feeling to a person alternate universe having their own avatar come to life on the big screen. No-doubt that the video game culture will take over the world.


What do you think the impact on the video game will be on the future culture?

Video games have revolutionized tremendiously in the past decades. With the improving of our technology, it is with no doubt that the video game culture will take over the world. Tecnology has risen to new hights in the past years and with it capablity to withtain certain standards, video games have become more standard and interactive and given a more indept look for players to actual put their feet in those of their avatars. And because of this technology, Hollywood had also dipped their feet into it. More and more video games are coming to life on the big screen. This is giving people an idea what it would be like to live in a surronding that is a fictional univers. Everything will become more interactive.
